The farmhouse was built in the 1860’s and retains many of the existing features such as the fireplaces and cornice in the sitting rooms and the impressive staircase. The house overlooks mature gardens with extensive lawns, a large pond to the front and the tennis court to the side. It is a superb property for larger groups of family or friends and has the benefit of a lower ground floor which houses both a full sized slate snooker table and a games room complete with table tennis table.The ground floor has two large sitting rooms, each with a colour television ,one has a video attached. Both rooms retain many original features and have fireplaces for cosy open fires in the colder months. The large kitchen also provides the dining facilities. It has a large electric range cooker. On the ground floor there is also a shower room with shower, toilet and basin and one bedroom with double and single beds. There is also a utility room with a washing machine tumble dryer and freezer. The split level first floor has an additional five bedrooms. The main bedroom has a four poster bed with large ensuite bathroom, which has both a bath and a separate shower. A second large double bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom. Down the corridor you will find three more bedrooms one double and two twins, two of these rooms have hand wash basins. Also on this level is a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The second floor provides a further two bedrooms one twin and one triple room. There are also two single folding beds. All of the bedrooms have wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There is an unfenced pond in the grounds.
