The fabulous setting of Somersal Farm gave the Noakes family the confidence to venture into providing holiday accommodation.
The rolling Derbyshire countryside provides spectacular views in all directions and the particularly attractive farmhouse provided the ideal starting point for their new business in 1999. The success of this led them to develop the spacious brick and tile barns in 2000. In all cases the idea was to create accommodation for large groups, all of the properties are spacious and ideal for get-togethers.
The Noakes family have owned the farm for over 100 years and still farm the adjoining land with crops that you will see being harvested and cultivated. You are free to roam around the farm and take a walk by the stream or view the large badger set.
Robert and Bridget Noakes are always available to the holiday makers to ensure their stay is a happy experience.
